We inspect over 1000 TEU of reefer containers of imported tropical fruits (e.g. bananas, kiwi fruits, avacados) at main Chinese ports and inland distribution centres (cold stores). The inspection orders mostly come from the shippers and their underwriters, shipping lines and their insurance companies and the receivers. Our inspection is performed for either customary quality check (in respect of size, grade, pulp, pulp temperature, chill damage, insect/knife injury, scars/bruises, fungal diseases etc) during stripping, or damage ascertaining in case of a claim, to establish the root cause with reference to temptale recordings.
